He has a dream. He wants to become the first ever Indian to play for Liverpool Football Club. Just at the age of 14, this Birmingham-born youngster takes out time from his daily routine to make a career in football. Being 14, it does take a lot of hard work from this lad.
Dhanda joined the Liverpool Academy this summer. Having played with teams like Aston Villa, West Brom, Birmingham, Walsall. Yan joined the Baggies when he was just 7 years old and then headed to the Reds during the July transfer window.
Not only this, Yan has been shortlisted in the ‘Up and Coming Asian Player of the Year’ category at the Asian Football Awards at Wembley Stadium. Yan is said to be having his first interview via Twitter or Facebook accounts, making him one of the hottest prospects.
Yan says that he is a big follower of Andrea Pirlo. When he was having his trails at Chelsea, he performed brilliantly for the Blues and was called up for the England U-16 side, being only 14 years old.
Yan Dhanda became the first ever player of Indian origin, to sign for Liverpool FC. He was billed as one of the most exciting prospects in the West Bromwich Albion academy, during his time at the club, had a host of clubs in the race for his signature.
