Hadn’t it been for his 94 in the 1st game with Aussies reeling at 98/5, the entire Ashes could have been a different story. he went on to score 1 century and 4 half-centuries in 7 innings this Ashes, which has been remarkable. He strung a total of over 1000 runs in partnerships for the last 5 wickets in this series.
