Quarter Final Draw for Champions League and Europa League

The draw for the Quarter Finals of the Champions League was made today and defending champions Bayern Munich will be coming up against Manchester United. Spain are guaranteed at least one team in the semi-final after Barcelona were drawn against Atletico Madrid while, Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea will play against Paris St. Germain. In a repeat of one of last season’s semi-finals, Real Madrid will face Borussia Dortmund, with Real vying for their unprecedented 10th Champions League title. This is the first time in the Champions League’s current format that all eight group winners have reached the last eight. The first leg will be played on April 1-2 with the second legs on April 8-9. This season’s final to be held at Benfica’s Estadio da Luz in Lisbon on 24th May.

The draw for the Europa League quarter finals were also made today with European superpower Juventus drawn against Olympique Lyon while Porto will come up against Seville, AZ Alkmaar will play Benfica and FC Basel against Valencia. The first leg will be played on April 3 with the return leg on 10th April.
