INDIA'S TEST FUTURE

India is building its team for the future. The team for the limited overs cricket is settled & strengthening, but the real format it has to look upon for the future as some tough tours ahead will decide how good this team is for the ultimate cricket. It’s in the hands of these young talents to continue the legacy that the big guns left. Some players justified their talent & some needs to prove themselves. Here are some names that can be the India’s Test future.

Murali Vijay: a stylish, patient & still attacking batsman, who scored lots of runs in domestic matches & Test matches at home but he needs to prove himself outside, where he is more inconsistent & left out of the squad in numerous occasions.

Rohit Sharma: Most talented player in the country having acquires range of shots under his belt but he needs to justify his talent. Played over 100 ODIs & scored only 2 centuries proves his inconsistency. He has a knack of throwing away his wicket. He is considered Tendulkar’s successor. He needs to prove that.

Ajinkya Rahane: Again a talented player, he played only 1 Test & failed to capitalise his opportunity. The tour to Africa will be handy one for him to prove the selectors that he can play outside subcontinent also.

Jaydev Unadkat: last time he played a Test in S. Africa & he returned empty handed. After his comeback, he impressed in Zimbabwe. He’s got variety & he can be India’s weapon to strengthen its bowling.

Amit Mishra: He strengthens India’s spin dept. Having impressed everyone in IPL & now in Zimbabwe with his googly, he definitely has the ability to be next Kumble, but needs to be consistent.

Umesh Yadav: fast & furious. Have the speed, height but needs to work on his length & habit of bowling short occasionally. Otherwise, he is lethal with his bouncer.

Shami Ahmed: again a good swing bowler with his accuracy to move the ball but needs to work to bowl more Yorkers, which is very lethal.

These mainly are the future of India’s Test & India’s bench strength. Talents are there but now it’s upto the individual to justify that.
