Question.

End of Swiss hopes

A blown fuse stopped me from watching/recording the semi final between Nadal and Federer. As a Federer fan, some might say I was spared the blushes of watching him being crushed In a straight set defeat against Nadal.

Nadal has looked very strong on the hard surface having won all his matches. He is poised to play Djokovic in the final. It should be a thriller of a match as both of them have been unbeaten on their run to the finals.

Nadal played some great tennis and put Federer under pressure and came out winning 7-5,6-3.

Federer showed some resilience in the first set but the second was almost a walkover for Nadal.

In the other match, Djokovic ended all of Switzerland’s hopes by winning a comfortable match against Roger’s training partner Wawrinka.

Wawrinka overachieved in his debut appearance at the tour end finals, by reaching the semi finals, but was no match for a Djokovic. The match ended 6-3,6-3 in novak’s favor.

Nadal - Djokovic is considered to be one of the legendary rivalries, having played more times than Federer - Nadal.

The final will surely serve a mouth-watering match.
