India vs West Indies 2013 : 2nd ODI - Match Preview

After a convincing victory in Kochi, both the teams now move from the Western coast to the Eastern coast. Vizag plays host to the 2nd ODI between India and the West Indies in this 3 match ODI series.

However, rain seems to hog all the limelight in this encounter, and Cricket seems to have taken a backseat! Cyclone Helen made a landfall on the coast of Andhra Pradesh yesterday, and the threat of a rain curtailed game looms large.

Coming back to the cricket, India would look to extend their winning run in Vizag as well, and would like to win the series here itself.
The top-order is in great form, and is more than making up for the poor form of Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina. The experiment of Suresh Raina at No.4 seems to be going haywire, and the team management would need to look at that position before the series in South Africa.

West Indies have been hit hard by injuries, and they have lost of their most prolific limited overs cricketers in Gayle and Pollard.
The top order now looks rather weak, and the skipper Dwayne Bravo will have make some changes in the batting order. Promoting Lendl Simmons up the order wouldn’t be such a bad idea, since he started his career there only.

Both the teams would like to have a complete game, and Vizag has had a reputation of being a high scoring venue.
