Rohit Sharma to lead Mumbai in upcoming Ranji Season

Rohit Sharma, who’s captaincy has been making waves around with back-to-back IPL and CLT20 victories, has been named as the captain for the upcoming Ranji season by the MCA.

The team’s regular captain, Ajit Agarkar, has retired from first class cricket.

Rohit Sharma has been in fine touch this year. He has struck gold as an opener in the ODI team, whereas his performance as a middle order batsman in the 6th edition of IPL and CLT20 has been impressive.

Zaheer Khan will be leading the side for the Ranji opener, as Rohit will be busy in national duty.
