Greatest Rivalries In Football - Ajax vs PSV

Probably the two most successful clubs in Netherlands have to be Ajax and PSV. Both these clubs have great rivalry, both these clubs usually end up finishing in the top 2 places. Till date, none of these two clubs have ever been relegated from The Eredivisie, while the lowest positions of both these teams has been 13th respectively.
  Both of these clubs have produced brilliant talent till this day, and have been doing so for years. PSV have produced Ronaldo (Brazilian), Romario, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Gullit etc. Ajax’s list is unstoppable when it comes to bring out young lads from the academy, they were Johan Cruyff, Marco Van Basten, Edwin Van Der Sar, Ibrahimovic, Sneijder, Rikjaard, Suarez, Van Der Vaart and many many more. Both these clubs have a great past with Ajax winning 32 Eredivisie titles and PSV winning 21. Both have experienced European glory on a high as well as Ajax have won 9 international cups and PSV have won only 2. Not only that, these two are the biggest clubs in Holland and always look to finish on the top spot.
  Both of these clubs have a huge fan base. But when on a personal note, I feel that Ajax fans are more passionate about their teams. What an atmosphere it is to be in the Amsterdam Arena. Wild singing, flares can be often seen. Ajax legend Cryuff had scored more than 180 goals for them, and did even come on a second spell. But at the end of the season, Ajax decided not to extend his contract. Being furious by this, he then signed for arch rivals PSV and helped them win the league after a decade.
  This is always an awaited matchup in Netherlands and is never disappointing. The next match will surely be one to watch out for.
