Question.

Where are the SAS heading to?

Where are the SAS heading to?

SAS, that is Suarez and Sturridge. These two of Liverpool are the hottest striking partnership currently in the Premier League. Already having scored 14 goals together in 10 PL games, they look to be promising and look to be the deadliest force.
Suarez is a man who has an eye for goal, has brilliant trickery and has well stopped his acting ways. This Liverpool man looks dedicated and looks to remove off all those titles which are being labelled on him via the press. He has not only aww’ed all of the football fans, but has won many Liverpool fans hearts all over again. Since it was said that Suarez wanted to leave Liverpool as they did not qualify for the Champions League, the fans were very much upset and quite well supported him and that is what held him back at Anfield. Since his first start against Sunderland, he has been impressive in and out. He even scored his fourth Premier League hat-trick against West Bromwich Albion for the Reds. According to the BBC, he has scored a hat-trick every 20.3 Premier League games, "the best rate of all 46 players to have scored more than one treble" in the top tier. He has now scored a total of 6 goals in the PL and has even got an assist to his name. Big clubs like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are said to be after the Uruguayan, but with his huge fanbase, I don’t really see that happening.
DO THE STURRIDGE! This is what turns Liverpool fans on. He has been in top notch form since he joined The Reds back in January. He is currently the top scorer in the Premier League with 8 goals in 10 matches and already has achieved a big name for himself. He is quite known for his ball control and his hammer dropping shots. Having established him in the first team since he signed for Liverpool, he has been an important man throughout Liverpool’s European dreams. He is highly known for his goal scoring celebration which is known as Do The Sturridge.  It is so good that even EA Sports have put it up in Fifa 14. His latest goal against West Brom was absolutely astonishing!. It could well be counted in as Top 10 goals of the year.
These two players are the biggest names currently in the PL. But it is difficult to say if they are the best partnership ever. One might say that Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke had to be the best. Well it will for sure take some time for these two to adapt and when they will, they will be to watch out for.

Every player has his own attributes mate. For the time being, I say that we end it here, or this banter will go on for a long time. Cheers

Ronaldo ? Lmfao, the guy had been scoring in 8 to 9 consecutive Classicos. The jury still remains out on Bale though, it is too early to tell. Sturridge however, has been playing for quite a while now and has always come up short against the bigger teams. Even the other day, when he scored against United (in the league) , he was quite poor overall and Liverpool could have scored more but for his selfishness.

Why did Ronaldo and Bale not perform well against Barcelona then?..sell them off too?

However, the very best always thrive on the biggest stage. For instance, Wayne Rooney has multiple goals against Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham has scored once against Bayern Munich, Barcelona. It is about stepping up in the big games which Sturridge in particular fails to. There is a reason why Chelsea sold Sturridge

All footballers have their ups and downs...and on a personal note I'd always go for the positive side.

'SAS' serially go missing in the big games. Where were they against Arsenal? Or against United in the Capital One Cup?
