Is Moyes any good for Manchester United???

Well 12 games into the season its been, and we find Manchester United perched at 7th position in the Barclays Premier League, some thing which has been very rare for all these years of the Sir Alex Ferguson era. Well so why this sudden immense deterioration in performance from the defending champions??? Being an ardent supporter of the Red Devils myself, I can’t but point a finger at David Moyes’s management tactics.
Well comparing him with the likes of Sir Ferguson would be unfair, but then being bequested with the charge of the champion team of England ought taa have bought out the best in his managerial skills. But alas, it seems he’s more out of place here, and completely clueless about the needs and expectations of a team used to being table-toppers, and not a side that comapetes for a UEFA Cup spot in the league(read Everton). To start with Moyes’s decision to change the entire support and coaching staff, and replacing them with that of Everton, was indeed a blunder, since the players had already built a synergistic relationship with the support staff under Sir Ferguson, and hence they should have been retained. Also his decision to make only a sole last minute bid for Fellaini at the transfer window, showed that Moyes aint yet mentally prepared for this job. He must realize that Man Utd are a team with very high expectations and requirements, starkly different from Everton. All that Moyes’s tactics have been is to adjust the Manchester United footballing sense, to adopt Everton ways, instead of himself moulding his ideologies to suit United more.
Man Utd are badly lacking another quality midfielder, to feed the potent attacking duo of Rooney and Persie. Next Moyes is too much into chopping and changing the starting line-up, thereby not displaying much confidence in his players. Moyes indeed needs to settle down, and start showing more confidence in his players. Also he must put the January transfer window to good use, if he wants United to carve their way back in the title-race. Because, if we don’t make it to the top 4 qualifying spots to the Champions League atleast, then surely its curtains for Moyes at Old Trafford. Till then let’s go by Fergie’s last words of advice for one and all Man Utd players and fans- Keep faith in your new manager!!!
