It took only 20 minutes for Liverpool to demolish the Gunners at Anfield.

Oh god. What a game for Liverpool. It was one of their outstanding performance of the year fortunately came against the leaders of the league. It was the day when Liverpool dominated the game and won the game within the first 20 minutes of the match.
On a cold Saturday afternoon the Five S’ of Liverpool (Skrtel, Sturridge, Sterling, Steven and Suarez) demolished the mighty Gunners which they never expected or even prepared for such a hard day at the office. The gunners were nowhere in the field but were seen blaming each other after every goal.
The demolition started within a minute when a cross from Steven Gerrard was netted by Skrtel in the first minute. The fans went crazy, The Gunner goalie were clueless. It was just the right momentum Liverpool wanted. From that point Liverpool just attached the Arsenal defence. The men in red jersey were everywhere on the pitch completing each and every pass with accuracy. The same pair of Steven and Skrtel netted the second goal when Steven took a corner at 11th minute of the match. With two nil down in the first eleven minutes it was time for the other three S (Sterling, Suarez and Sturridge) to join the party. In the 12th minute of the match a through ball from Suarez to Sturridge caught Szczesny one on one in front but unfortunately Sturridge lofted the ball away from the net. Szczesny would have had heart in his mouth with that attempt. The entire stadium roared in support for the fantastic football of Suarez. With another corner in the next 2 minute Suarez almost scored a blinder but unfortunately hit the side bar and flew away from the post. If that would have been a goal it would have definitely made into the list of Goal of the season.
With this immense pressure it was not too far for Liverpool to score a third one. In the 17th minute of the match Ozil lost the ball in his own half and with a strong counter attack from Liverpool Sterling netted the third one from a cross by Suarez. Countino’s through ball between the Arsenal centre half gave Sturridge an opportunity to score a 4th goal. As expected he netted the ball from the edge of the penalty area with his second touch. By this time Arsenal were down and accepted the defeat. Remaining time in the match was just a formality. Sterling added one more to his tally of score at 53rd minute of the match which was a result of brilliant play by Kolo Toure. Arsenal were rewarded a penalty as a complementary when Steven Gerrard made an unnecessary challenge inside the box. Arteta scored an easy one from the spot. It was only one way traffic from start to the end for Liverpool.
This loss against Liverpool is a wakeup call for the Gunners. It’s time for Arsene Wenger to make much more concrete strategies while playing against the teams in the upper half of the table. As a title contender’s this was not expected out of a full strength Arsenal. If this is continued in the future then Arsene Wenger should postpone his plans of becoming the champions of BPL for one more year. Fortunately for Liverpool this win has boosted their confidence and helped them stay alive in the title race of BPL. This race not only opened the gates for Liverpool but also for other teams who were in the title race thus making the league even more exciting.
