RCB Vs RR Match Preview : A Battle of Two Opposite Teams.

RCB Vs RR Match Preview : A Battle of Two Opposite Teams.

How has this year`s IPL been different from the previous six editions? This year has been the year of domination by 2 sides. And they are not very difficult to guess. Yes, Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings. And to prove KXIP`s domination, CSK has lost just 2 matched and both of them happen to be against the Kings XI. Such has been their supremacy. But after these 2 teams, there is one more team which has heaved nerves of spectators, Rajasthan Royals. The team which has been built with some unknown players and which depends on domestic strength than any other team in IPL has continued to appraise the very tournament itself.
Today, this well-grouped team takes on the power house Royal Challengers Bangalore, the team which was expected to be in the playoffs very easily. Both teams are the opposites of each other. One relies on team effort and the other on the big players in the team. Rajasthan Royals can be that team to study for the entire world which exemplifies why a sport like cricket depends heavily on team effort.
RCB has lost the confidence with the close defeats they have faced in the previous matches. The captaincy stint seems to be showing on Virat Kohli as well. Gayle has not fired and Yuvraj Singh has been disappointing. Their only saving grace has been AB DeVilliers who has hit 2 fifties and also won a match out of nowhere on his own. But RCB has been a formidable unit at their home ground barring the beating they got from KXIP.

What to expect from RAJASTHAN ROYALS ?
Rajasthan Royals should play the same side. I would like to see Shane Watson coming in at 3 instead of Samson to go for the heavy guns blazing against the RCB. He is yet to fire with the Bat in this year`s IPL. Chinnaswamy is a small ground and expect both the teams looking to chase and the need to put up a big score is going to be there. A mere 150 score wont pressurize the chasing team on this ground. Tambe will again be the key player. He has scalped almost all the big names this IPL. It will be a wonderful battle to see Gayle against Tambe. Faulkner has not been read by any batsman since his return against KKR. RR seems to be the team in form and expect them to put their all efforts to secure their sixth win in this season and to make their place in the playoffs more probable.

What to expect from Royal Challengers Bangalore ?
RCB rely heavily on the big players they have and its time for those big players to fire.  Similar thing happened to KKR in an edition where they had all the power house but yet they never made it that far. This team needs to unite and play as a team. Individual brilliance might have won them a match but will not take them through to playoffs. Their bowling has been good with Varun Aaron and Chahal amongst wickets. Fans have been thronging the stadiums to watch the world`s ferocious hitter to enthrall them. Its time Gayle gets his nerves back and does what he has done best for RCB.
All the best to both the teams.
